The WT 1010GPRS Alarm communicator provides a FLEXIBLE solution for both residential and commercial environments.

When connected to any alarm panel, alarm reporting paths can be combined through the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) if so desired, plus the GSM/GPRS channels option. It conveniently utilizes the GPRS data channel of the GSM network as backup to ensure high speed, RELIABLE and secure alarm communications. With the GSM/GPRS backup feature, any concerns about the possibility of phone line disruption is removed

GPRS allows data to be sent between your security system and Alarm Receiving Center (ARC). In additiona, the option monitors the integrity of the communications link between customers and center monitoring station  (CMS)

GPRS operates on a mobile phone network and sends data at specified intervals, allowing Alarm Receiving Center to identify any loss of communication. In fact, GPRS service will "poll" or check your connection at varied times from 90 seconds (for high security applications) to 240 minutes (for lower security applications)
